London-listed Randgold posted its highest ever production in the third quarter of 9.5 mt, up from 9.33 mt in the second quarter, it said in an earnings release Thursday.
Production for January-September totaled 27.5 mt, up from 26.8 mt a year earlier.
The Jersey-headquartered company listed on the London Stock Exchange, said strong performance at its Kibali and Morila mines, in the Democratic Republic of Conga and Mali, respectively, were responsible for the rise in production.
Kibali is expected to exceed its full-year guidance of 600,000 oz (18.6 mt), according to the company.
Heavy rains in Mali resulted in lower-than-forecast grades and production at the Luolo mine.
The company said drilling was progressing to plan at its Domba project in Mali, whilst exploration teams were planning a regional versatile time domain electromagnetic survey in Cote d'Ivoire.
